Genral Checklist of Visa

1. Application & Personal Documents
Schengen visa application form (completed & signed).
Valid passport (issued <10 yrs, validity of 6 months, 2 blank pages) + copies.
Biometric passport-sized photos (white background, recent with 70% of face ).

2. Travel Plans
Cover letter explaining purpose, dates, itinerary.
Flight itinerary (round-trip booking, not necessarily paid).
Hotel bookings or private accommodation proof.
3. Financial Means
Bank statements (last 3-6 months, stamped/signed).
Salary slips (last 3 months) or Employment contract.
Income Tax Returns (ITR-V) for last 2-3 years.
For self-employed: Business registration, GST, bank statements.
For students/unemployed: Sponsor’s documents (bank statements, affidavit).
4. Proof of Social/Economic Ties (Return to India)
Employer’s NOC/Leave letter (if employed).
Company/Business registration.
Proof of property/assets.
5. Travel Insurance
Travel Medical Insurance (minimum €30,000 coverage for Schengen area, valid for entire trip).

Here is a list of Canada Visit Visa Requirements for Indians:

● Original Indian Passport:You must possess a valid Indian passport with at least 6 months of validity after your intended date of leaving Canada. To apply for Canada Visitor Visa, you also have to provide a copy of the passport page with all your information like the passport number, date of issue and expiry and other personal information.

● Visa Application Forms:The Canada Visa application package has a list of all the forms you will need to complete and submit. The travel agency will help you fill them.

● 3 Colour Photographs:You must submit 3 colour photographs according to the Canada Visa Photograph Specifications. If your photos do not adhere to the requirements set by the Canadian government, your Canada Visa can be rejected.

● Covering Letter:You must submit a cover letter stating all your personal details. The cover letter should also state details regarding your purpose for travelling to Canada.

● Paid Canada Visa Fees:To apply for Canada Visa you have to pay a Canada Visa price. Keep the visa payment fee receipt and attach it to the application.

● Financial Proof:It is important to provide proof of the fact that you will be able to support yourself and your family members financially while staying in Canada.

You might have to submit financial proofs like:

  • Original personal bank statements for the last 6 months
  • Salary slips from the last 6 months (If employed)
  • Shop Act / MOA /Deed (If selfemployed)
  • Income Tax returns / Form 16 for the last 3 years

Other financial documents like FD, NSC, PPF, Shares, Property papers

Depending on your location of Canada Visa Application you might also be asked for some other proof of funds and finances.

  • Original Leave Letter:You must submit an original letter stating that your leave has been approved either by your school/college/employer, whichever is applicable.
  • Proof Of Clean Criminal Record:You will have to prove that you have a clean criminal record. You can do this by submitting a police clearance certificate from your home country.
  • Proof Of Good Health:Undertake a medical examination and submit proof of your good health and that you are eligible to enter Canada.
  • Proof You Will Return To Your Home Country:To get your Canada Visitor Visa you must be able to convince your visa officer that after your visa expires, you will leave Canada and return to your home country. To prove that you can submit proof of employment, property and familial ties in your home country.
  • Identity And Civil Status Documents:Submit photocopies of documents like birth certificates, marriage certificates, divorce/ annulment certificates, etc. along with your Canada Visa Application.
  • Invitation Letter From Host Company:If you are visiting Canada on a Canada Business Visa, you will have to show a letter of invitation from the host company/ business in Canada. This letter will make you eligible to enter Canada on a business visa.These are some of the required documents for a Canada Visa Application. Apart from the ones mentioned here, you may also be required to submit some additional documents depending on your purpose of visit or your home country.

    9. Djibouti Djibouti eVisa could be applied on: https://www.evisa.gouv.dj/#/. A transit visa (from 1 to 14 days) costs $12 and a short stay visa (from 15 to 90 days) will cost US$23. Maximum validity is 90 days.

    15. Lesotho Tourist single entry – 44 days, Tourist Multiple entry – 180 days, Business single entry – 44 days, Business multiple entry – 180 days, Student Visa- 90 days, Tourist- Sani Pass and Botha Bothe- 90 days
    16. Malaysia Maximum stay allowed is 30 days
    17. Moldova Moldova provides e-Visa facility. Stay upto 90 days in a period of 180 days is allowed.
    18. Myanmar Tourist visa (online) 28 days for USD 50, Tourist Visa Express (online) 28 days for USD 56, Business visa (online) 70 days for USD 70
    19. New Zealand New Zealand issues e-visas to Indian nationals. The maximum duration depends on the categories of visa. Tourist Visa is available with up to one year validity. Up to 3 year validity is available under the ‘Grand Parent’ category.
    20. Papua New Guinea 30 days
    21. Russian Federation e-Visa to Indian nationals visiting Russia is applicable to visit to specific areas of Far Eastern Federation district and Kaliningrad Region of Russian Federation. The e-Visa is issued for up to eight days only on free of cost and persons visiting these areas have freedom to move only within this area.

Taiwan E-visa facility is available to the following Indian passport holders: (i).  Those who have been invited to attend international conferences, sporting events, trade fairs or other activities in Taiwan – organized, co-organised or sponsored by central government agencies. (ii).  Tourist groups from India who are visiting Taiwan for the purpose of conducting business at the recommendation of local offices of the Taiwan External Trade Development Council. Tourist groups from India under “Project for Simplifying Visa Regulations for High-end Group Tourists from Southest Asian Countries”.
    29. Tajikistan Validity of Visa is for 90 days from the date of issue, with maximum 45 Days stay with single entry.
    30. Tanzania e-Visa is allowed with maximum 3 months/single entry
    31. Thailand Ordinary passport holders are extended e-visa facility which permits stay for 15 days
